Prof. Liudvika Leišytė’s contribution to the Harvard University Mahindra Humanities Center webinar 'The Academic Profession in Knowledge-Based Societies – Global Perspectives' recording is available.

Prof. Liudvika Leišytė was invited to participate in the panel discussion of the Harvard’s Mahindra Seminar on 3 November, which focused on global perspectives of the academic profession in the knowledge-based societies. The panellists from Canada, Germany, Poland, Argentina and Finland discussed international and comparative research findings from the APIKS project (Academic Profession in the Knowledge-Based Society).

Prof. Leisyte reflected on the Agency of Academic Staff in the Transformation of University Governance, referring to her research on governance and academic work in the past decade as well as the key findings from the Lithuanian country study of the APIKS project. She also drew on the contributions of a special issue on the APIKS project that she recently co-edited.
