What do students expect from private universities? Why do they pay tuition fees when they can study the same degree program at a public university without paying tuition fees?

These questions were the focus of the BMFTR WiHo-Lunch Talk, where Prof. Dr. Uwe Wilkesmann and Prof. Liudvika Leišytė presented the initial results of the project "ELLpH – Factors influencing the implementation of new teaching-learning concepts at private higher education institutions".

The most significant difference in expectations is between students in distance learning programs and those in face-to-face programs. The socioeconomic characteristics of the two student groups also differ greatly.
