This course can be taken by all TU Dortmund University students as part of the studium oecologicum certificate program (subject area "Gesellschaft").
Content of the Course
This course focuses on diversity and inclusion management in private companies as well as pub-lic organizations. Specifically, it will focus on the dynamics, challenges as well as opportunities organizations face in adopting good corporate social responsibility policies and practices to ensure a competitive advantage and diversity and inclusion. The lecture (Vorlesung) builds on academic and practitioner literature, draws on a variety of management and sociological theories. The exercise (Übung) focuses on real practice examples of challenges implementing diversity management policies in different types of organizations in Germany and abroad.
Examinations
Written and graded exam covering the entire module (90 minutes).
