Together with their co-authors from Estonia and Lithuania, Liudvika Leišytė und Anna-Lena Rose shed light on the factors that influence the adjustment of expatriates in higher education. In their article, they explore both work-related and non-work-related adjustment factors as well as personal characteristics that influence the successful adjustment of expatriates.

The results of the qualitative study indicate that the university based expatriates feel well-adjusted to their host countries. However, the environmental supply requires further development to fulfil expatriates' needs.
