Within the scope of the Sciences Po seminar "Enseignement supérieur et recherche", Prof. Leišytė will give a talk titled "The promise and the 'dark side' of platform capitalism in higher education: the use of platforms in university performance management systems" on 17 November.

Performance measurement and management tools in higher education are being digitalized across Europe to different degrees. In her presentation, Prof. Leišytė will focus on the following questions: How does digitalization permeate performance measurement? How does this potentially influence academic work and professional autonomy?

Prof. Liudvika Leišytė will give this talk as part of her research stay at Sciences Po Paris, where she will be a guest professor at the Centre for the Sociology of Organisations (CSO) from 1 November to 20 December.

The seminar "Enseignement supérieur et recherche" at Sciences Po is organized by the CSO and provides a stage for research on higher education carried out in France, as well as in Europe and other regions of the world.
